$5,000 to the Bursary Programme, which provides help for post-secondary education to needy Veterans and their children and grandchildren, as well as currently-serving members of our Military.
$5,000 to the Ontario Poppy Fund, which finances the Legion's travelling Provincial Service Officer programme.
$5,000 to the Ontario Homeless Veterans Fund, which has so far in 2014 helped over 220 previously Homeless Veterans.
All of these programmes are for all Veterans - Legion Membership is not a criterion.
It is Thanks to the generosity of the good folks of Kitchener and Waterloo at Poppy time, and throughout the year, that we can continue to support our Veterans and their families.
