KW Poppy Fund Chairman Jim Ashton passed away this morning

KW Poppy Fund Chairman , Zone 2 deputy commander and past president of Royal Canadian Legion BR. 530 Waterloo passed away this morning. It is with heavy heart that we announce that Comrade James (Jim) Ashton, Deputy Zone C-2 Commander, and Past-President of this Branch, passed away this morning.

Our deepest condolonces to Rae Ann and the family.

Note: Meeting for tonight July 19th, 2010 at ANAFA has been cancelled out of respect of our comrade Jim.
