OBITUARY - long time volunteer DOREEN JACOBS

JACOBS, Doreen (Millet) Passed away quietly after a lengthy illness on Friday evening, September 20th 2013 at St. Mary's Hospital Kitchener. She will be sadly missed by her Legion comrades and many friends.
Doreen volunteered for more than twenty-five years on The Poppy Fund, one of our stalwart "taggers" despite advancing age and declining health. On November 11th, 2012. Doreen was presented with the Poppy Appreciation Award for her years of selfless service. Loving mother, aunt and great sister. In lieu of flowers please give to The Legion Poppy Fund. Cremation and private interment as per her wishes have been carried out.
